Russia increases anti-terror laws

With less than 100 days before the 2014 Winter Games, Russian president Vladimir Putin has signed tougher laws to preemptively stop terrorism.

The law forces the family members of terrorists to pay for any damages the terrorist causes, “… if … they obtained money, valuables and other property as a result of terrorist activity,” the law states.
